What Is Gran Minerva and What Does It Do?
Think of Gran Minerva as your early warning system for customer risk and expansion opportunities.
The Problem We Solve
Your customers show warning signs before they leave. By the time you notice, it's often too late to save them.
How Gran Minerva Helps
We watch your customer data 24/7 and automatically alert you when we detect risks - before your customers drift away.
What Makes Us Different
We don't store your sensitive data. We don't contact your customers. We don't replace your team.
Day 1: Get Your First Insights (10–30 Minutes)
Option A: Start with Sample Data (Fastest)
If you want to see the dashboard working immediately, choose Sample Data when you first log in. You’ll land in the Insights Hub with realistic demo accounts.
Option B: Upload Your Data (Best for Real Value)
If you want Gran Minerva to flag risk in your real customers, upload your data in the Data Library. Start with an export from your existing system — any format.
- 1. Log into your workspace
- 2. Go to Data Library
- 3. Upload your data or connect a supported source
- 4. Review results in the Insights Hub
Pro tip: include history
Upload as much history as you can (ideally 1–2 years). If you have churned customers, include them. More history makes the risk signals more accurate.
Choose How Data Arrives
Gran Minerva supports several ways to bring in customer data. Start with whichever fits how you work today — you can add more sources over time.
Upload files
Drop one-time CSVs, spreadsheets, exports, and documents straight into the Data Intake screen.
Connect business systems
Set up a scheduled connector for systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Drive, Amazon S3, Dropbox, or Box. Some connectors are marked Beta.
Event/API feeds
Let another system send structured events through a webhook or API. Event feeds are event-driven, so there is no schedule to manage.
Local monitoring
Watch folders that should stay in your own environment. Raw files stay on-site and only signals sync up.
Set sources up from the Data Workspace — Data Intake for uploads and local monitoring, Scheduled imports for connectors and Event/API feeds.
How Much History Should I Include? (IMPORTANT!)
The Short Answer: As much as you possibly can. Historical data is the secret to accurate predictions.
Ideal Historical Data:
- • Minimum: 6 months - Gives seasonal trends and basic patterns
- • Recommended: 1-2 years - Shows full customer lifecycles
- • Best: 3+ years - Captures long-term trends and rare warning signals
With 3 Months of Data:
"Customer usage dropped 20% this month"
→ We can alert you, but we don't know if this is normal
With 18 Months of Data:
"8 out of 10 customers who showed this pattern churned within 60 days"
→ Now you know this is urgent
